Teri Johnson

Teri Johnson is the creator, host, and executive producer of Travelista TV, an online video network with a focus on travel, culture, lifestyle and entertainment. Known for her spontaneity, jovial personality and her ability to present travel and lifestyle advice and experiences to all demographics, she is recognized as a global travel expert.

Her passion for adventure, storytelling and her multi-lingual talents has taken her to nearly 60 countries where she has hunted with the Kuku-Yalanji aborigines in Australia, trekked through the mystical Dogon country in Mali and explored wine regions in ten different countries.

Teri’s commercial appeal has landed her in national advertisements, web series, and online campaigns with Ford, Honda, and Choice International Hotels. She is currently starring in her own 12 part series for TravelChannel.com entitled “Fall in the Finger Lakes – with Teri Johnson”. In the summer 2014, Teri was hired by Hampton Hotels as their spokesperson for their “Embrace Your Weekend Self” campaign where she represented the Hilton brand via satellite media tours and radio interviews. Teri has been featured in projects for various tourism boards including South Africa Tourism, Antigua & Barbuda Tourism, British Virgin Islands Tourism, etc.

Teri can be seen as a guest on NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice,” Travel Channel’s “Stuff Rich People Like,” and Fine Living’s “All Girls Getaway.” As a host, journalist and media personality, Teri interviews celebrities on the red carpet for movie premiers and award shows for the SundanceChannel.com, BET, TVOne, and more. She is a travel writer for the TravelChannel.com, Huffington Post and appears in and contributes to several magazines including Uptown Magazine, Four Seasons Magazine, and Ebony Magazine.

In addition to being a travel personality, Teri is a travel blogger for AOL/Huffington Post and has appeared in and/or contributed to several magazines including Cosmopolitan, Uptown Magazine, Four Seasons Magazine, Essence Magazine, Jones Magazine, Ebony Magazine, and Rolling Out Magazine.

Teri holds a Masters in Business Administration from Florida A&M University and a certificate of achievement from the Universitè de Paris-Sorbonne. She also studied Italian wine at Lorenzo de Medici in Florence, Italy and has studies at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) and the New York Film Academy in New York City.

In her spare time, she volunteers with two non-for profit organizations focused on Haiti and has traveled there twice since the 2009 earthquake to help document the rebuilding efforts and help assess the needs of the country.
