Andrea Adams is the Co-Founder, Host and Executive Producer of Travelista TV. Her work and travel assignments have taken her to more than 50 countries around the world. She has lived in Italy, Spain, France, Los Angeles, and New York, and her fascination for global art, style, and culture comes through whether she is cooking with chefs, dancing flamenco, or celebrating the running of the bulls festival in Pamplona. As the Cultural Enthusiast of Travelista TV, Andrea enjoys interviewing chefs, designers, artists, cultural experts, and musicians.
PRESS Andrea Adams has been published on Huffington Post, USA Today Travel, Ebony Magazine, Black Enterprise, Essence Magazine, and writes for Italian e-magazine FloNtheGo. With her partner Teri, Andrea executive produced and hosted the Travelista Inspired Journeys series presented by Ford on BET.com; Andrea also created and executive produced the Girlfriend Getaways web series presented by Choice Hotels on AOL Huffington Post; and executive produced and hosted the Sundance Film Festival experience for TV One and Blackhouse.org. Andrea has been featured in the series All Girls Getaway for Fine Living Network; The Mo’Nique Show on BET Network; Travel Channel’s Stuff Rich People Like; and the Steve Harvey nationally-syndicated morning radio show. In 2014 Andrea Adams licensed the Travelista TV show for international TV distribution.
PROJECTS A true global coolhunter, Andrea is also the creator of the The Velvet Circle, a boutique lifestyle media company focused on art, style, and cuisine. She launched the first annual fashion showcase for Independent Designers in Florence and the company is the exclusive Web TV partner of Pitti Immagine Taste, the preeminent luxury lifestyle and culinary exhibit in Italy.
Andrea Adams has collaborated on original content development and social media campaigns with numerous media, PR, lifestyle, and tourism clients and brings her corporate and entrepreneurial experiences to the university classroom as she lectures on brand management.
Andrea earned a BS and MBA Magna Cum Laude on full scholarship from Florida A & M University, and speaks Italian and French. She has studied at Centro Linguistico Alighieri, Florence University of the Arts, and has taken courses at the School of Visual Arts, Media Bistro, Chicago City Limits, and Cape’s Coaching in NYC. She jet-sets between her homes in Italy and the US.
