Austria has a worldwide reputation for music, arts and literature. It was home of many classical composers as Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and Strauss. When traveling to its capital, Vienna, make sure to visit the gothic St. Stephens Cathedral and the Schönbrunn Castle. There are many opportunities to have fun day and night, so get your energy up with some Wiener coffee and Sacher cake and explore everything Vienna offers!

Shopping:

Vienna is full of shopping streets with cute designer stores, jewelry shops, and vintage boutiques. For designer shopping visit the streets between Kohlmarkt and Kärnter Strasse. For vintage stores visit Gigi Vintage or Vintage Flo with designer clothes at low prices. Stop by the Liska store, the traditional Viennese fashion house, or take a look at private luxury label Kayiko, offering designer fashion in exclusive limited editions for cosmopolitan people who value quality. We also like Fisher’s Focus for stunning apparel.

Eat:

If you want to drink Wiener Melange, the typical Viennese coffee, in the same café as Simund Freud, Robert Musil and Arthur Schnitzler, go to the Café Central on the corner of Herrengasse and Strauchgasse. Order some traditional Strudel or Zimtschnecke.

There are many traditional and international restaurants in Vienna. Typical Viennese cuisine is a mixture of Hungarian, Bohemian and Austrian dishes. While are you shopping in the city center, enjoy lunch at Restaurant Drei Husaren, a glamorous restaurant that has lost its tradition.

For dinner try the Le Ciel Gourmet Restaurant in the Grand Hotel. This French-oriented restaurant was awarded the Best Restaurant of the Year. Or try Motto for international cuisine.

Nightlife:

For clubbing and dancing head to Club Take Five, where you’ll find a cool flavor of people. A hangout for Vienna´s celebrities, this hotspot plays a range of music on different nights.

If you are a house music fan, go to the Club Fusion especially on Friday. If you prefer Latin music, go to El Dorado Bar, where cocktails and live music are waiting for you! Don’t leave Vienna without checking out Passage, a fantastic underground lounge playing everything from soul to house, with fabulous drinks.

Stay:

Hotel Sacher in Philharmonikerstraße 4 is a luxury hotel in the center, with a long history. It opened in 1876 and since then many famous people have stayed there, including Queen Elisabeth II., John F. Kennedy and Leonard Bernstein. If you are longing for spa treatments, the hotel spa offers massages and luxury chocolate treatments. Another option is to stay in the luxury Imperial Hotel. We guarantee you will feel like royalty. In 2008 it was awarded by Condé Nast Traveler as Best Hotel in the World.

Enjoy!
